The prestige and elegance combined with exclusivity are first words that come to mind when talking about the newest edition to Miami skyline.
In the sea of branded highrises announced to be built in our beautiful city, The Residences at 1428 Brickell are bringing the charm and sophistication of NYC's Fifth Avenue by keeping the street name as the actual name of the building, making it that more significant to begin with.
This 70-stories tall tower will have a limited collection of only 189 units with 80,000sqft of amenities dedicated exclusively to residents.
What struck me the most about this project is the fact that 1428 Brickell is the first residential tower in The World partially powered by Solar energy!
This will be achieved by placing 500 photovoltaic-integrated windows along the west facade of the building, creating a "Solar backbone". Such an innovation is extremely important in the world of high rise construction as incorporation of solar energy in building operations eliminates 4,700 tons of CO2 and use of 3,000 barrels of oil, all of which leads to environmentally friendly living - in luxury!
